How to compare pro settings like an analyst

  1. Start with eDPI, not DPI. eDPI (DPI × sensitivity) is the only number directly comparable between players. Two pros on different DPIs with the same eDPI aim identically.
  2. Then check polling rate and scoped sens. A 4000Hz mouse with mismatched scoped sens still feels off on Operators and Marshals.
  3. Copy eDPI first, gear second. Gear comfort matters, but turn-distance is what changes your aim overnight.

TenZ vs aspas — whose settings should I copy?

TenZ plays faster (higher eDPI) for wide entry swings; aspas sits lower for one-tap precision. Try both eDPIs with the converter and keep the one where your counter-strafes land centered. Full numbers: TenZ settings · aspas settings.

What is a good eDPI to start from?

Most VCT pros cluster between 200–350 eDPI (roughly 800 DPI × 0.25–0.44). Start near 280, then adjust in 5–10% steps. More detail in the sensitivity converter guide.
